Our Adult Education Locator was taken offline, as it depended on data received and processed by our hotline operators.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, difficulties, and frustration that termination of the hotline has caused. We closed it with great regret, and only because we had no choice. The LAC hotline contract with the NY State Department of Education was not renewed and New York City did not resume its prior funding. Without direct financial support, the LAC simply did not have the resources to sustain a viable hotline with trained specialists and current information on hundreds of programs.
