Mohammad and Farida Younus spoke three languages when they arrived from PakistanEnglish wasnt one of them. They were enrolled in ESOL classes at Forest Hill Community House when their youngest daughter, Nazish, was in kindergarten. “Before, I didnt know the ABCs,” Farida said. “Now I help my daughter with her homework.”
