New York State Projects
In its role as the New York State Education Department (SED) Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES) regional adult education network (RAEN) for New York City, the LAC provides professional development services free of charge to adult and family literacy practitioners throughout the city. The LAC is leading the NYSED effort to develop a framework that can be used to create a statewide professional development system for adult educators. Our ASISTS information management system serve programs throughout New York State. We also work with other SED-funded technical assistance centers to support K-12 school improvement throughout New York City.
