  • LINCS The National Institute for Literacy’s “Literacy Information and Communication System” provides a broad spectrum of resources on a range of topics.
  • The Adult Literacy Resource Institute The Adult Literacy Resource Institute (A.L.R.I.) is a program and staff development center for adult literacy /basic education and English for speakers of other languages programs in the Greater Boston area. It is part of the Graduate College of Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. ALRI is one of five regional support centers of the Massachusetts System for Adult Basic Education Support,SABES.

  • LiteracyTent LiteracyTent is a portal site devoted specifically to literacy. By “literacy” they mean adult education, including ABE/GED preparation, ESOL, workplace education, family literacy -anything and everything aimed at improving the educational levels of adults, and supporting the idea of “lifelong learning.” The service provides web-hosting, a news and information forum that anybody can contribute to; mailing list system for literacy-related mailing lists, a file sharing system for literacy-related projects, which allows people collaborating on documents and files to use LiteracyTent as a central file repository and server.
