​Part-Time ESL and Digital Literacy Instructor Positions

Bronx Community College Adult Education and Training Program
The Bronx Community College Adult Education and Training Program is seeking qualified instructors for several part-time positions beginning in September 2026.

Available Part-Time Positions

1. Evening ESL Instructors – Levels 1 and 2
Two positions available
Schedule: Two evenings per week, 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Total: 6 hours per week

2. Digital Literacy Instructor
Schedule: Two mornings per week
Total: 6 hours per week

3. Contextualized ESL Instructor – Digital Literacy
Schedule: Two days per week
Total: 6 hours per week

4. Contextualized ESL Instructor – Hospitality
Schedule: Two mornings per week
Total: 6 hours per week

5. Evening Contextualized ESL Instructor – Digital Literacy
Schedule: Two evenings per week
Total: 6 hours per week

Compensation: $43 per hour

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • TESOL certificate or Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience teaching adult English language learners.
  • Experience using a communicative approach and thematic or contextualized curriculum.
  • For digital literacy positions: demonstrated experience teaching and working with all aspects of digital literacy.
  • Experience in the relevant contextualized area (digital literacy or hospitality) preferred.
  • Must participate in 14 hours of RAEN-sponsored professional development.
