Many adult literacy programs continue to operate in New York City and are teaching classes remotely.  If you are interested in taking  classes in: 
  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages),
  • HSE (High School Equivalency),
  • Pre HSE (for students who need preparation before taking HSE classes) 
  • ABE (Adult Basic Education which includes reading, writing and math instruction)
