Full-time ESOL Program Supervisor Needed
CAMBA is looking for an experienced and resourceful adult literacy professional to support, coach, monitor, and facilitate the professional development of its ESOL instructors and continue to enhance the overall quality of services provided to the students.

The position is full-time! The work hours are 9am to 5pm (Tuesday and Thursday) and 12:30 to 8:30 pm (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).

BA/BS in education or a related field required. MA/MS preferred. Min. 2 years of experience as an adult literacy program supervisor required. Min. 2 years of experience with ESOL instruction, whole language and Freirian methodologies, BEST Plus, and BEST Literacy highly preferred. Excellent communication, organization, leadership, computer, database, and internet skills required.

ABE/HSE Prep Program Supervisor F/T

F/T ABE/HSE Prep Program Supervisor
CAMBA is looking for a highly organized, experienced, and resourceful adult literacy professional to (1) help recruit, orient, assess, and place ABE applicants in appropriate classes; (2) support, coach, monitor, and facilitate the professional development of its ABE/HSE Prep teaching staff at 885 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn; and (3) continue to enhance the overall quality of services and support provided to ABE/HSE Prep students and staff members.

The work schedule is 9am to 5pm (on Mondays and Wednesdays) and 12:30 to 8:30 pm (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays). It is required that candidates have at least a BA/BS (MA/MS preferred) in education or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as supervisor of an ABE and/or ESOL Program of 5-10 teachers, 10 or more classes, and approximately 150 students per quarter.

Candidates with experience in administering TABE, TASC Readiness Assessment, TABE or TASC Readiness Online are preferred. Excellent student folder organization and management, professional communication with staff and students, ability to effectively use a computer and navigate the internet, plus data management proficiency are required.
