CAMBA needs a Supervisor of Student Affairs to work temporarily and supervise enrollment and case management services at its Education Center, which is currently functioning virtually (via Zoom) until in-person activities can restart at 955 Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn, N.Y. The work schedule for the hired supervisor is 9 am to 5 pm (Tuesday & Thursday) and 12:30 to 8:30 pm (Monday, Wednesday, & Friday). It is required that candidates have at least a BA/BS in education or a related field and at least 2 years of applicable supervisory experience in the field of adult literacy; MA/MS preferred. Candidates must have experience with adult literacy student outreach, intake, assessment (using BEST Plus, BEST Literacy, and TABE), class placement, and case management. Applicants with strong/advanced abilities in using Microsoft products (such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams), Zoom, Acrobat, and Google products, who are self-starters, passionate about helping youth and adults solve personal and family problems, committed to helping with the continuous enhancement of New York City communities, and who are highly organized are preferred.
