ESOL Workforce Development Instructor P/T

Riverside Immigrant Services & Empowerment (Riverside), an immigrant integration center in NYC, seeks an ESL Workforce Development Instructor. Riverside supports newly arrived immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers through free, full-time English instruction, case management, and workforce development.

The Instructor will design and facilitate ESL instruction focused on workplace communication, provide employment-focused coaching, and help participants build resumes, interview skills, and LinkedIn profiles. Responsibilities include maintaining attendance/progress records, collaborating with case managers and ESOL staff, and contributing to curriculum development.

Training runs in five-week cycles, minimum 5 teaching hours plus 4 hours of curriculum/coordination weekly, paid hourly up to 12 hours/week. In-person at 520 Eighth Avenue, New York.

Requirements: prior adult ESOL teaching experience (in-person and online), Bachelor's degree required, ESOL certification and curriculum development experience preferred.
