CAMBA needs an ABE/HSE Prep instructor to teach part-time at its 885 Flatbush Avenue site in Brooklyn, N.Y. The work schedule is 5:30 to 8:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
It is required that candidates have at least a BA/BS (MA/MS preferred) in education or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as an ABE instructor. Candidates must be familiar with internet resources of relevance to learners and be able to integrate technology and workplace skills into classroom instruction. For this position, candidates with proven success in teaching English Grammar, Essay Composition, and Reading Comprehension skills are preferred.
