CAMBA seeks a part-time HSE math instructor to work in person at its Education Center, located at 955 Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn, N.Y. The work schedule is 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.
1 Part-time Afternoon ABE/HSE Math Instructor Needed
CAMBA seeks a part-time HSE math instructor to work in person at its Education Center, located at 955 Flatbush Avenue – Brooklyn, N.Y. The work schedule is 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
For both positions the candidates must have a B.A/B.S. in education or a related field; Masters preferred. Candidates must have taught ABE/GED/TASC preparation for at least 2 years and must have experience working with low income and/or ethnically diverse populations.
For these positions, the ability to effectively teach at least high-school-level Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra, and Function to adults and young adults is a must.
Applicants with experience in computer-assisted instruction, who are self-starters, and highly organized are preferred.
