Part-Time Adult Education Instructor – HSE Tutor
CAMBA seeks a part-time Instructor supporting adults who are seeking their High School Equivalency diploma through the National External Diploma Program (NEDP). The candidate will: tutor adults in math, reading and writing, research and develop instructional materials, conduct NEDP information sessions, proctor program entrance exams, advise and assess participants as they progress through the NEDP, and evaluate subject areas according to program criteria.
This position is part-time, 24 hours weekly to be worked between Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Specific schedule is negotiable and will be discussed and agreed upon prior to hire. B.A/B.S. preferred. Ability to tutor adult learners in Math and Writing is required. Must be comfortable tutoring via Zoom and be willing to work both remotely and in-person from our office in Staten Island when needed.
