Reports to Director of Adult Education and Workforce Development
Provide classroom instruction, completely in English, to speakers of other languages to assist in improving their English language skills - speaking, reading, writing, listening. Prepare lesson plans based on course book topics and maintain records of work done in class as well as student attendance. Must be proficient in English and have good working knowledge of grammar and language usage. Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain things effectively is desirable. 3 – 4 years of teaching experience a must.
Classes Offered:
Tuesdays – Fridays 9:00am – 11:30am
Mondays – Thursdays 6:30pm – 8:45pm
$30/hour
