Adult ESOL Educator (Part-Time)
Location: Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Hours: Mon-Thurs 9am to 12pm - Advanced Level Class
Mon, Tues, Wed 6pm to 9pm - Basic Level Class
Pay: $26.66/hour
Position Summary:
NYU Langone Family Heath Center is looking for Instructors are responsible for curriculum development, instruction, assessment, coordination with support services, and record keeping. Instructors also attend monthly staff development sessions and work at registration and orientation sessions throughout the academic year. Instructors must be creative and dynamic with a commitment to learner-centered, participatory education. ESOL instructors certified to administer the BEST Plus exam preferred. Bilingual (Arabic, Chinese, Spanish) a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA and at least 2 years or equivalent training and/or alternative experience. TESOL certification or equivalent preferred
