ESOL Instructor P/T

Hot Bread Kitchen seeks a part-time  ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages)  instructor
Key Responsibilities

• Assess language levels and assist with evaluating member’s eligibility for the program
• Using established curricula and lesson plans, provide contextualized instruction to 5 - 10 students
• Provide support to supplement NYC Food Protection course
• Document attendance and progress
• Attend weekly meetings with program staff to review progress and participation
• Provide one-on-one support as needed
• Use allotted administrative hours to prepare for classes

Skills & Experience:

• Passion for Hot Bread Kitchen’s mission
• TESOL certification
• Minimum 3 years teaching ESOL to adult multilingual learners 
• Schedule and Compensation:

Compensation: $45-55/ hour
Approx. 50-55 Hours total: 30 teaching hours and 20-25 administrative hours
Monday-Friday 3:15-4:45 pm
Program calendar:
September 22- October 27, Monday-Friday 3:15-4:45pm
