ESOL/Civics Teacher – Part-Time Evenings

Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow is seeking a part-time ESOL instructor for adult learners at our Sunset Park location. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to start on September 26, 2016.
The ESOL instructor should be committed to social justice and have experience working with immigrant populations. The instructor will teach a student-driven ESOL curriculum that integrates technology and authentic assessment. Candidates must be creative, organized, and discreet when handling sensitive personal information.
Requirements: BA and experience teaching ESOL to adults and excellent computer skills. BEST Plus certification preferred. Proficiency in Spanish not required, but extremely helpful.
