The Adult Education Program at Union Settlement is happy to announce the opening of (2) two part time instructor positions to teach HSE/ABE in Spanish. One instructor will be teaching one evening and one Saturday class. The second instructor will teach one Saturday class only.
Instructors are responsible for curriculum development, instruction, student attendance, pre/post testing, etc. They are also expected to attend professional development meetings and work collaboratively with the Case Manager and the Program Assistant. Must be creative, dedicated, organized, punctual, and able to communicate in English and in Spanish. A Bachelor’s degree and experience teaching GED/HSE is required, as well as knowledge of the TASC exam. Classes are expected to begin in January.
