Part-Time Instructor Opportunities
City College’s Continuing and Professional Studies department is seeking experienced adult education instructors to provide High School Equivalency (HSE) (renamed Test to Assess Secondary Completion – TASC) to adults, 18 years of age and older, in select New York City Housing Authority/NYCHA sites throughout NYC.
HSE Instructors– will prepare adult students in all 5 sections of the new Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), formerly known as GED. Classes will be held two-three times weekly. Each session is three hours during the day or in the evening based on specific site schedule. Minimum 3 years documentable adult education experience preferred.
Hourly rate $40.

Successful interviewees will be expected to submit their fingerprints and complete a State Central Registry Form (child abuse registry) as part of their successful candidacy.
