Requires:
- Commitment to social justice
- Understanding of link between low-income and need for dignifying jobs
- Work collaboratively with staff
- Aggressively matching and marketing workers with limited English proficiency as well as other clients
- Establish and maintain relationships with employers
- Securing job order
- Match skills of participants with appropriate job openings
- Make referrals and conduct follow-up with job seekers and employers to ensure client success
- Must place 10 to 13 per month as well as
- Manage a regular caseload of 20 workforce participants
- Assist in job development efforts
- Assist with grant management and reporting
- Provide supervision to staff and volunteers
- Evaluate and develop projects to enable program growth.
$30/hour, 28 hours/week, occasional evenings/weekends may be required
This is a temporary position that will end on June 30 may become Part-time regular.
