Manager of Operations, Adult Learning Centers
Brooklyn Public Library is seeking a Manager of Operations, Adult Learning Centers to provide quality spaces, instructional services, and experiences to strengthen the educational attainment of communities in Brooklyn. In collaboration will be responsible for management and development of dynamic adult learning centers that provide a range of educational resources for beginning adult literacy and basic education students. The Manager of Operations plans, organizes and supervises the operations of the five Adult Learning Centers, produces detailed reports to the Mayor’s Office of Adult Literacy of New York, and other city, state, federal, and private funding agencies as well as internal stakeholders and oversees supervision, training and evaluation of staff in order to enhance leadership and supervisory competencies among site supervisors. Requirements include:

Requirements include:
- BA/BS in Education or related field,
- 3 years’ experience in adult ed. & supervision
- strong communication & presentation skills.
- Must be able to work occasional evenings & weekend.
- Some travel required.
