Pre-High School Equivalency Teacher-Part-Time Evenings
Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow is seeking a part-time Pre-HSE instructor for adult learners at our Bushwick Workforce Resource Center. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to start in September 2015.
Responsibilities include delivering an interactive Pre-HSE preparation course that integrates all five content areas, with special emphasis on essay writing and math, conducting summative and formative assessments, and other related duties.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and two years basic education or HSE teaching experience, preferably at a non-profit organization or with learning disabled students.
