Community Impact, Columbia University is currently recruiting volunteer teachers for our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program.
The Spring program runs February 3rd - May 7th. The New Teacher Initial Meeting is scheduled for January 24th, with flexible training options during that week.
Teachers may volunteer as little as one day a week or up to fours days a week and teach English to adult immigrants. Experience is preferred. If you are new to teaching, we'll pair you with an experienced co-teacher.
Classes run Monday through Thursdays at the following times:
