Responsibilities include:
- Administer assessments to gauge students’ abilities
- Design a syllabus based on students’ needs
- Create engaging lesson plans
- Maintain records of attendance
- Provide instruction to a mixed level group
- Utilize technology when possible
Requirements:
- Experience teaching basic writing skills in an adult education setting
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in a related field
- Ability to work with a diverse population with varied abilities and needs
- Excellent communication skills
